Amanda is instrumental on client teams and brings exceptional energy to work ranging from media relations to the integration of PR in other marketing strategies.
By coordinating creative media kits, and researching and writing news releases, case studies, matte releases and bylined articles for a variety of B-to-B and B-to-C clients, Amanda demonstrates leadership among her peers at RMPR and RMG.
To help the Minnesota History Center meet their goal of selling 100,000 tickets to the 2008 "Vatican Splendors" exhibit, Amanda and her RMPR team hosted three very well attended press events. In addition, more than 1,000 media members received CD media kits. As a result of the huge spike in media coverage, the History Center sold more than 106,000 tickets, making Vatican Splendors its most visited exhibit ever. Vatican Splendors and Risdall McKinney were honored with a 2009 PRSA Classics Award for "Best Media Kit (Events)" at the awards banquet in Minneapolis.
Amanda was called upon to help Premier Mounts maximize the impact of their 30th Anniversary. As a result of RMPR's award-winning efforts, Premier received significant coverage during the event, as well as company profiles and bylined articles in large trade publications. Coverage in the following six months increased 71 percent, and, in an editor survey conducted in Oct. 2007, 66 percent responded that perceptions of Premier Mounts had improved.

Amanda spent time in a small village in Tanzania, Africa with no running water or electricity. Though not ideal, the accommodations contributed to a once-in-a-lifetime experience that taught her to let go and just go with the flow.
